Refund Policy
Professional Training Programs & Executive Education Services. This Policy governs all payments made to Warien Rose Academy and forms part of the WRA Terms of Use by reference.
1 June 2026
Jurisdiction: Federal Republic of Nigeria.
By enrolling in any WRA program and/or making payment, participants acknowledge and agree that they have read, understood, and accepted this Refund Policy as binding.
Refunds are exceptional, not standard. In case of conflict, the WRA Terms of Use shall prevail.
1. Policy Statement
This Refund Policy governs all payments made to Warien Rose Academy (WRA) for programs, courses, workshops, executive training, digital learning services, and related educational offerings. By enrolling and/or making payment, participants accept this Refund Policy as binding. This Policy forms part of the WRA Terms of Use by reference.
2. Nature of Services
WRA provides professional education and executive development services, including:
- Cohort-based training programs
- Online and hybrid learning experiences
- Live facilitated sessions and masterclasses
- Assessment and certification services
- Digital learning access and institutional resources
Participants acknowledge that program delivery begins upon enrolment confirmation and/or access activation.
3. General Refund Principle
All fees paid to WRA are primarily for program seat reservation, access to intellectual property and learning systems, administrative processing, scheduling and cohort allocation, and facilitator engagement and resource planning. Accordingly, payments are not automatically refundable once enrolment is confirmed. Refunds are exceptional, not standard.
4. Non-Refundable Categories
The following are strictly non-refundable under all circumstances:
- Application fees (if applicable)
- Registration / enrolment fees
- Seat reservation deposits
- Administrative or processing fees
- Learning materials already accessed or distributed
- Digital platform access fees once activated
- Completed or partially delivered sessions
- Certification fees (once processing has commenced)
No exceptions apply unless explicitly stated in this Policy.
5. Refund Eligibility Conditions
Refunds may only be considered under the following limited conditions:
5.1 Program Cancellation by WRA
A full or partial refund may be issued if the program is cancelled before commencement and no equivalent replacement program is offered.
5.2 Duplicate Payment
A refund may be issued where a verified duplicate transaction is confirmed by WRA finance records.
5.3 Technical or Administrative Error
Refunds may apply where payment was processed in error due to a verified system fault.
5.4 Non-Commencement Before Access Activation
A limited refund may be considered only where payment was made, the participant has not been granted access to platforms, materials, or sessions, and a written request is submitted within the refund window (see Section 6).
6. Refund Request Window
Where eligible, refund requests must be submitted within 7 calendar days of payment OR before program access begins, whichever occurs first. After this period, all payments are deemed fully earned and non-refundable.
7. No Refund After Commencement
Once any of the following occurs, no refund shall be granted:
- First live session attended or accessed
- Learning platform login granted
- Course materials accessed or downloaded
- Participation in any program activity
- Inclusion in cohort scheduling
Participation is deemed to have commenced upon any form of access.
8. Withdrawal by Participant
Voluntary withdrawal from a program does not entitle the participant to a refund, transfer of fees, or a pause of financial obligations. Participants who withdraw remain financially liable for full program fees unless otherwise approved in writing by WRA.
9. Expulsion or Removal
Where a participant is suspended or expelled due to misconduct, breach of Handbook or Terms of Use, academic or professional dishonesty, behavioural violations or policy non-compliance, no refund shall be issued under any circumstance. This includes partial, prorated, or unused portions of the program.
10. Instalment Payments
Where payment is made in instalments, all instalments are binding obligations; access is not contingent on full payment completion; missed instalments do not qualify for refund; and WRA reserves the right to restrict access for non-payment.
11. Transfers and Credits
Refunds will not be replaced with automatic credits. Transfers may only be granted at WRA's discretion and are subject to availability of future cohorts, administrative approval and payment adjustment fees (if applicable). Transfers are not guaranteed rights.
12. Force Majeure and Service Disruption
No refunds shall be issued for delays or disruptions caused by government actions, natural disasters, public health emergencies, technical infrastructure failures, third-party platform outages or force majeure events beyond WRA control. WRA may reschedule or restructure delivery without refund liability.
13. Payment Disputes and Chargebacks
Participants agree that all payment disputes must be submitted directly to WRA first; unauthorised chargebacks may result in immediate suspension; WRA reserves the right to recover fees and associated costs legally; and access may be permanently revoked during dispute resolution.
14. Refund Processing
Where a refund is approved: processing time is 14–30 business days; refunds are made to the original payment method only; and administrative verification is required before release. WRA is not responsible for delays caused by banks or payment processors.
15. Final Decision Authority
All refund determinations are made by Warien Rose Academy. WRA reserves full discretion to interpret and apply this Refund Policy in line with institutional, operational, and program integrity standards. All decisions are final.
16. No Implied Rights
No participant, agent, or third party may assume automatic refund entitlement, prorated entitlement, verbal refund agreements, or informal commitments outside this Policy. Only written WRA approvals are valid.
17. Governing Law
This Policy is governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
18. Policy Integration
This Refund Policy forms part of the WRA Terms of Use, the WRA Global Learner Handbook (by reference), and all program enrolment agreements. In case of conflict, the WRA Terms of Use shall prevail.
